Michael Munson

Life Circle was founded by Michael Munson, a 30-year member of the Santa Fe community. Michael is no stranger to devastating grief: His wife was killed in a car accident when his children were adolescents. Ten years later his daughter was also killed in a car accident.

Michael knew the importance of community and community resources. They helped him cope with his immeasurable grief. To him, Santa Fe had always been a place where we take care of one another.

When his mother was unable to care for herself as a result of Alzheimer’s Disease, Michael was her caretaker.  He searched the area for a safe and compassionate day center for his mother while he was working, he came up empty handed.

He had no place to turn. No place to help care for his mother. No place to provide needed socialization. No
place to offer him guidance and respite.

Michael opened Life Circle in 2021.
